Here is another set of photos from our webmaster Richard Chonak, who is currently traveling in central Europe, this time of the cathedral of Poznań, the oldest in Poland, dedicated to Ss Peter and Paul. First built in 968, it has been renovated several times in its history, and owes it current appearance to a restoration project after severe damage suffered during World War II. It was originally part of a palace complex of the dukes of Poland, which became a kingdom in 1025, and several of the early monarchs are buried there.
