First Saturday Dominican Rite Sung Mass in Oakland, California, October 5

The Dominican Rite Missa Cantata for First Saturday Devotions of the academic year will be celebrated on Saturday, October 5, at St. Albert the Great Priory in Oakland California. It will be a Votive Mass of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, beginning 10:30 a.m; the celebrant and preacher will be Fr. Christopher Wetzel.

The music and servers will be provided by the student friars of the Western Dominican Province. St Albert the Great Priory Chapel is located at 6170 Chabot Road, with ample parking available on Chabot Road itself.

The next First Saturday Dominican Rite Mass will be a Requiem Mass for All Souls’ Day, at Corpus Christi Monastery in Menlo Park California. The final Mass of the semester will be on December 7, again at St Albert’s Priory.
