During a recent trip in England, Bishop Athanasius Schneider celebrated a Pontifical Mass at the Faldstool at one of the first post-reformation Marian shrines. Ceremonially, it's interesting to note that he does not use a crosier, because the crosier is reserved to the ordinary and to those whom he gives specific permission.
