Bring friends! Evangelization through beauty!
It's interesting that the founder of the March for Life herself was a supporter of the Extraordinary Form, and often attended at this very church.
I will be posting this again, with more details, as it gets closer to January.
The Paulus Institute for the Propagation of Sacred Liturgy, Washington, DC, is pleased to announce the Second Annual Nellie Gray Mass commemorating the devoted shepherdess of the March for Life.
Through the felicitous good will of Rev. Fr. Alfred J. Harris, Pastor of St. Mary Mother of God Church in Washington, DC, a High Mass, Extraordinary Form, will take place at St. Mary’s, where Nellie Gray regularly attended the Sunday traditional Mass. The commemorative Mass is scheduled at 6 p.m. the evening of the 2014 March, Wednesday, January 22.
The celebrant of the Mass will be Dom Philip Anderson, O.S.B., Father Abbot of Our Lady of Clear Creek Abbey in the Diocese of Tulsa. The deacon will be Rev. Msgr. Andrew Wadsworth, Executive Director of ICEL.
Co-sponsors of the Mass with The Paulus Institute are The Lyceum School of Classical Catholic Education (www.thelyceum.org) South Euclid, Ohio, and its Schola Cantorum, which will sing the Mass, and the young adults of Juventutem Michigan and Juventutem DC.
Further information will follow periodically.
