Event Notice: Newman Symposium and Evensong, Boston

he Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston and the Roman Catholic Anglican Use Congregation of St. Athanasius are jointly sponsoring a symposium on Blessed John Henry Newman at 3 PM this coming Sunday (October 9, 2011), to be followed by the solemn celebration of Evensong in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel at 5 PM. Speakers will include (among others) Fr. Peter Stravinskas and Prof. Peter Kreeft, both of whom I am sure need no introduction to our readers. Both the symposium and the motets and psalm settings selected for Evensong make this look like a very exciting event, and definitely worth attending if you are in the greater Boston area.
