The chapel features painted scenes, by C. Lameire (1896-1912), showing episodes from the life of St. Louis IX at Nazareth, as well as the battle of the Knights Templar defending Nazareth.
We have shown some examples of wrought ironwork in our churches in the past (a simple but impressive and beautiful artistic feature which I think merits more consideration today) and I would like to highlight the wrought-iron railing by E. Mattaccotta. Indeed, it was this ironwork which actually first caught my attention and drew my eye to this chapel.
