Our friendly neighborhood Cistercian, Br. Stephen of Spring Bank, whose photos I featured on a post some months back about the former seminary of the La Crosse diocese in western Wisconsin, has returned with a few more photos of the crypt of the seminary chapel, a handsome if rather minimal essay in Romanesque. Particularly appealing are the photos of the murals and sculptures ornamenting the simple chapel. Have a look.
