I was recently directed to the latest installment of the Kenrick-Glennon Seminary lecture and workshop series I participated in earlier this year; the most recent speaker was the witty and articulate Msgr. Wadsworth of ICEL giving an excellent four-lecture cycle on the new missal translation, accompanied with snippets of a DVD produced to help clergy navigate the changes.
You can find the recordings, plus a sermon he gave on the priesthood, here. While I did not see the DVD itself (podcasts can only convey so much), it sounded excellent, and Msgr. Wadsworth himself did a wonderful job as well explaining the concepts in play in the new translation, what we can expect, and how it will be implemented. With a priest like him at the tiller of ICEL, we have much to be thankful for.
