Solemn Vespers at the Birmingham Oratory on the Occasion of Newman's Beatification

The following photos were sent in to the NLM by James Bradley showing the celebration of Solemn Vespers yesterday evening, Sunday, September 19th, at the Birmingham Oratory, on the occasion of the beatification of John Henry Newman.

The celebrant was Fr. Richard Duffield, the provost of the Birmingham Oratory, and as you shall see, a number of the bishops of the United Kingdom were present.

The Vespers were celebrated in accordance with the 1962 Breviarium Romanum.
