Every once in a while I step back from the endless back and forth in the Catholic world over the issues of translation from Latin to English, with another revision on its way in the next 18 or so months, and consider how utterly strange it is that the Catholic world did not, apparently, draw on the experience of the Anglican/Episcopal Church in its translation.
