Diaconate Ordinations in New FSSP Seminary Chapel by Bishop Serratelli, Chairman of USCCB Committee on Divine Worship

The website of the North American Seminary of the FSSP has images of the first ordinations which were conferred in the new chapel at Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary on 6 March 2010, which was consecrated only three days earlier (cf. NLM coverage here, here and here). Six seminarians were ordained to the diaconate, four seminarians of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter and two of the Carmel of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Wyoming. The ordianing prelate was H.E. Most Reverend Arthur J. Serratelli, Bishop of Paterson, New Jersey, and significantly Chairman of the US Bishops' Conference Committee on Divine Worship and Commissioner of the International Committee on English in the Liturgy (ICEL).
