A leading Scots Catholic claims an erosion of the “beautiful tradition” of the church and the trend for “touchy-feely” worship has put it at odds with the Vatican.
The divisions are said to have created apathy amongst bishops around the planned visit of Pope Benedict to Scotland this year. The church denies the claims.
