On November 9th, the feast of the dedication of the Lateran archbasilica, the usus antiquior (Missa cantata) was celebrated in St. Mary's Cathedral in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. This particular Mass was sponsored by the local chapter of Juventutem.
The Mass was celebrated by Fr. Howard Venette, FSSP, who is stationed in the Archdiocese of Toronto, and presently establishing an FSSP apostolate in that city.

Following the Mass was the talk on the spirituality of the usus antiquior as well as a question and answer period for those interested in the more ancient form of the Roman liturgy.
