Note to Salamanca Cathedral Staff

Just took my first took of the astonishing Salamanca cathedral in Spain. Breathtaking. Beyond belief. However, during my entire time there, guess what was playing on the speakers? Handel's Messiah in English. I listened the entire oratorio yet again. Now, it's a lovely piece but not emblematic of this place. I looked for a staff member to comment and suggest a change but my Spanish is weak. Perhaps someone can send a note with a link to some music of the Spanish Renaissance?
