Just a note to readers that beginning today, I will be travelling to Budapest via London, for a liturgical conference being organized by the St. Augustine Liturgical Atelier and Professor Laszlo Dobszay. Co-NLM writer Fr. Thomas Kocik will also be present at the conference.
The Budapest conference promises to be quite excellent, bringing a line-up of speakers I have not seen since CIEL Oxford -- in fact, many of those delivering papers at the Budapest conference did so in Oxford as well.
After Budapest, I will spend a few days in London and Oxford meeting up with various liturgical friends and acquaintances, exploring some of Pugin's works and so on. It should be an immensely profitable and enjoyable time.
Because of this, you won't be hearing quite so much from me in the next week and a half or so, though I do hope to provide daily updates from the conference itself provided there is internet access available. Rest assured though, the rest of the NLM writers will be bringing their usual contributions.
Readers: do please continue to send in your stories, reports, news tips and photos to me, for even if I do not have time to blog them myself while I am away, I will be trying to keep tabs on email and at very least I can forward them onto the other writers here.
Finally, if each of you could say a prayer for the safe travels for myself, Fr. Kocik, and all attending the conference, I would be greatly indebted to you.
