Byzantine Sights at World Youth Day

While the liturgically interested tend to focus on World Youth Day from the perspective of the papal liturgies and Juventutem (and this year, a couple of other venues as well), it is good to recall that the splendours of the Byzantine liturgy are also there present:

As an architectural aside, I was struck by the noble dignity of the gothic church in which this was being celebrated, with its wonderful stone, woodwork, windows, chancel and altar.
