A few of my fellow seminarians were having a discussion about my fascia. They were told by some that it is not to be worn during liturgical functions. I have been wearing it during them and outside, and I believe that is the correct use? (Archbishop Marini wore it and so does Msgr. Marini).
The fascia is the "sash" or band that is worn about the waist and which hangs down the leg -- typically the left from what I can see.
