Italianate Splendour

Putting aside the kind of passionate discussion and debate this sort of thing stirs in the English speaking world, and not intending any pretension about this being in any way the exemplar of "the tradition" (which is much broader than any one style), I cannot help but share this delightful vestment spotted recently in Rome for the Feast of St. Agnes by Mr. John Paul Sonnen of Orbis Catholicus, embroidered in that divine Italianate way that draws in flora and fauna in beautiful, flowing, organic patterns.

My ideal sacristy would have a few such vestments on hand for use.
