I'm delighted to announce that Zaccheus Press has just published my new book, Loving and Living the Mass. As the title suggests, it's an explanation of the Mass (ordinary form) intended to help Catholics (cradle, new, or prospective) engage more deeply with the Church's highest form of worship. Mass guides abound, to be sure, but this one has the advantage of being brief (just 84 pages plus a bibliography) without giving anything too short a shrift. And, almost needless to say, it is unabashedly orthodox: everything is related back to the Sacrifice of Calvary.
Because L&LM originated as a series in my diocesan newspaper, it is accessible to a general readership with a limited tolerance for footnotes and citations.
Oh, and it would make a good Christmas gift!
