Sequel to Professor Laszlo Dobszay's Book in Translation

Many of you have been familiar with the discussion here on Professor Laszlo Dobszay's book, The Bugnini-Liturgy and the Reform of the Reform.

The book has been very well received. I'm pleased to announce that Prof. Dobszay has informed me (and permitted me to tell each of you) that he has just completed a second part to this book, which he is now beginning to translate into English.

The title of this second book will be:

The Renovation of the Roman Rite and its Organic Development

Prof. Dobszay hopes that this book will be ready for the Autumn of 2008 (a year from now).

I think most of us would agree that, solely from the title, it sounds like a highly interesting book. Something to look forward to.
