Someone writes to say that the Gregorian chant seminar scheduled to take place at the National Association of Pastoral Musicians this week, and led by Fr. Ruff, was canceled. Anyone know why?
By the way, the new issue of Today's Liturgy has an article by Fr. Anthony Ruff on music for communion. He gives a good recommendation for singing the communion proper of the day from the Graduale. I must say that I was a bit startled (but pleased) to see this in this publication which otherwise seems confused on matters of liturgical ideals.
