In response to my recent note about pictures from the English oratories, one of our readers put together these photos they had taken on a trip to the Birmingham Oratory. It includes some lovely shots from Newman's study, his clerical attire, photos of friends, and not the least of which, his private chapel:
Of course, being a bookish sort of person, I can't but help also show this picture of Newman's study. One wishes one could read the titles on the spines.
