In the USCCB's news service site, John Thavis noted in a preview of forthcoming 2007 events for the Holy Father (2007 promises a world of busyness for Pope Benedict) amongst other things, the expected papal documents. Namely, the post-synodal document and "according to Vatican sources, a document issued "motu proprio" (on his own initiative) that would expand permission to use the pre-Vatican II Tridentine Mass."
