On Wednesday, Pope Benedict will bless the new organ at Regensburg's Alte Kapelle, where his brother, Msgr. Georg Ratzinger was for a long time the Kapellmeister, according to Zenit. A little more information can be found here. Note the high altar as well. This hour-long event will be carried live by EWTN at 5am EDT and rebroadcast at 10pm EDT. (EWTN, for those without access to its TV channel, can also be viewed live online.)
The two manual, approximately fifty rank instrument will be called the Papst-Benedikt-Orgel. Built by Mathis Orgelbau, it replaces the Hirnschrodt Orgel. German speakers (and maybe even some non-German speakers) may enjoy a more thorough discussion about this organ here.
