Alright guys, I just want to give you a sense of the kind of end-product I was speaking of with our theoretical "missal development".
To that end, I've quickly created the Missale Romanum (Ordo Antiquus).
DISCLAIMER: I haven't yet had a chance to really go through this with a fine tooth comb, think more in depth at the thought of Ratzinger, look at the details of SSC, consider all the pastoral issues with regards the classical rite flock, or looked at the precision and beauty of the English language that I've made optional.
At the beginning of this theoretical Missale is a preface noting what I've done. I think this is important to emphasize any developments in a succinct way for people. I also think it would be good to put our rationale. I haven't completely done this as of yet either.
But again, please note, this is not my formal submission, rather just a quick one to wet people's appetites and get people thinking.
That being said, feel free to discuss, debate, critique, etc. this premature Missal.
It should be noted as well that this revision presupposed that the sanctoral is updated with the saints canonized since 1962.
