Not surprisingly, there is a quiet about today's interdicasterial meeting in Rome.
We've had one report, rumoured to come off Vatican Radio's Italian language program, but so far, nothing yet.
Believe it or not, I consider this encouraging. Typical Vatican sources have become hushed. It seems like there is something more tight-lipped than usual about today's meeting.
One way to look at this is this way: if it were simply more of the same (ie. discussion but not necessarily action or decrees) we'd probably have heard about this already.
Time will tell. Remember folks, the Vatican isn't CNN. It doesn't give on the spot, live updates of what is going on.
NLM will continue to monitor the situation for updates on a regular basis to make sure if something breaks, you'll be amongst the first to know.
