Some interesting architectural essays

Marcantonio Architects of New York, NY have some interesting essays and reviews available off their website which pertain to the liturgy and sacred architecture.

Learning from San Clemente

Incidentally, the mosaics in the sanctuary of San Clemente are amongst my favourites, probably only rivalled (in my taste I mean) by the likes of San Vitale in Ravenna. This is a form of sacred art that I would dearly love to see rediscovered even over and above the fresco/mural tradition.
