Personal Quasi-Parish for the Usus Antiquior in Guadalajara, Mexico

The Archbishop of Guadalajara, Mexico, His Eminence Cardinal Juan Sandoval Iñiguez, has erected a Personal Quasi-Parish for the usus antiquior (see decree below, click for larger version). The Personal Quasi-Parish of St. Peter-in-Chains is entrusted to the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter.

For those who wonder: a quasi-parish, according to can. 516 of the Code of Canon Law, is equivalent to a parish; a quasi-parish is a definite community of the Christian faithful in a particular church, entrusted to a priest as its proper pastor but not yet erected as a parish because of particular circumstances.
