The Community of St. Mary the Virgin in Wantage has posted the Palmer/Burgess Gradual in English, a treasured resource much in demand the world over. Musicasacra.com scanned it and posted it with the permission of this Anglican convent and now the convent has the files and has posted them to share with the world. Thus has the amazing resource become part of the global commons to be used by all. You can download a copy to your drive, share it with friends, print want you want whenever you want, all unto infinity forever more. I find that to be amazing and wonderful - the liberate a scarce resource from the physical world and turn it into a non-finite resources in the digital, available for all. This is why I and so many others have a passion for this approach to publishing and releasing archives. This type of activity is one of the tasks that has fallen to our generation.
