Candlemas: Anniversary of Cardinal Newman’s Founding of the English Oratory
Very best wishes go out to the English Oratorians and Oratories on this the Feast of the Presentation, when, in 1848, John Henry Newman founded the English Oratory. Please join the NLM in offering your own prayers and thanksgivings for the English Oratories, which, for so many years, have demonstrated their love and faithfulness to Our Lord and His Church -- which fidelity extended to the fostering and living of liturgical continuity, both in season and out of season. A heartfelt thank you to all of them.
