As we proceed within liturgical time, and we sit within the season of Easter, my mind begins to turn to the events of the Gospel which lead us toward the time of Pentecost.
When my mind turns to Pentecost, one of the modern day events that I strongly associate with this period of liturgical time is the annual Chartres Pentecost pilgrimage in France organized by Notre Dame de Chretiente.
I mention this because there still may be time for you to consider going. Any organizers of local chapters to Chartres, please feel free to use the comments to advertise your plans and how people from your regions might join your groups for the pilgrimage from Notre Dame de Paris to Notre Dame de Chartres.
This year, the 27th year of the pilgrimage, the theme of the pilgrimage is "Thy Kingdom Come" and it takes places from May 30th to June 1st.
