What struck me was a particularly beautiful cope which I wanted to share with you. Of course, the reason for sharing images of vestments such as these is not merely to show a beautiful image -- as edifying as that is -- but also to potentially show forth some of our tradiiton and cultivate a taste for beautiful and historical forms of vestments.
It is to be hoped that this will then give priests and vestment makers fertile ground for pursuing their own vestment creations.
