2009 Society for Catholic Liturgy Conference Announced

The Society for Catholic Liturgy is holding its annual conference this January 29-February 1, 2009, at the Cathedral of St. Cecelia in Omaha, Nebraska. The topic will be Missale Romanum.

Monsignor Bruce E. Harbert from the International Commission on English in the Liturgy will be the keynote speaker.

Other speakers will include the NLM's own Fr. Thomas Kocik, Dom Cassian Folsom, OSB, Fr. Rob Johansen (who many of you will recognize from the blog "Thrown Back"), and Dr. Daniel Van Slyke.

In addition, there will be an exhibit of the work of Thomas Gordon Smith including an opportunity to travel to Denton, Nebraska, to visit Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter, whose chapel he designed.
