An NLM reader -- who happens to be a seminarian in the diocese in question -- sent in news and photos of a Mass offered according to the
usus antiquior in the Cathedral of Saint Joseph the Workman in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The Mass took place on October 3, 2008 and was celebrated by the rector of the Cathedral, Fr. Michael Gorman.
The Mass was a Missa Cantata (sung Mass) with the music being provided by the Cathedral Schola.
Our seminarian-writer indicates that there was a significant turnout, including a number of seminarians from Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary in Winona, Minnesota.
