After the newly-dedicated
La Crosse shrine, the under-construction Chapel of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity at Thomas Aquinas College is one of the more exciting ecclesiastical projects now underway, and also the work of Duncan Stroik. A local news video
chronicles its new cornerstone, recently shipped to Rome for the blessing of the Supreme Pontiff.
Some photos of the in-progress exterior and interior are also reproduced below. It is a striking interior based principally on Florentine precedents, but intended to also recall the Mission architecture of southern California.
