I made mention of a piece I had been asked to write which would take stock of the past year with the release of the motu proprio, Summorum Pontificum and today that piece has been released.

In the piece, I consider both the visible effects and also the invisible effects yet to be seen of the motu proprio. Inclusive in this is a consideration of what we have seen already, what has occurred but out of sight, and, further, what we can reasonably expect to see in the coming years.
