Matthew of the "Dignare me laudare te" blog reports that on the coming Saturday, June 7th, at 6 pm, the Rev. Jonathan Romanoski FSSP will celebrate a Solemn Mass on the main altar of the Crypt chapel in the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC. Fr Romanoski is one of the new priests ordained last Friday by Cardinal Castrillón. The Mass, which is apparently the first Solemn Mass to be sung in the Basilica since the 1960s, will conclude the FSSP's 3-day pilgrimage of reparation. See the announcement of the North American District of the FSSP here.
Another Solemn Mass, followed by Solemn Benediction, will be sung this Friday, June 6th, at 6:30 pm in Nw York at the church of the Guardian Angel, 193 10th Ave. at 21st St. (Manhattan - West Side). The celebrant will be the founder and Prior General of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest, Gilles Wach, who will offer yet another Solemn Mass on Sunday, June 8th, at 11:00 am at St. Anthony of Padua Chapel in West Orange.
