Kalamazoo or bust

Just a reminder that I will be conducting a workshop in chant, punctuated by talks by Fr. Z. and Fr. Grondz, at St. Mary's Church, Kalamazoo, Michigan, on Saturday, June 7, 2008. I'm excited for this, and also fired up that this will be the first time that I see a physical copy of the Parish Book of Chant. It is just off the press. I can say with confidence is the greatest book of chant for parishes to ever appear in the English-speaking world, one that is specifically designed with Summorum in mind. In any case, my fondest hope is that we will have lots of people there who have never sung chant before. To me, this is the most exciting part of such workshops: to introduce the treasures of our musical heritage to people who have been afraid or otherwise avoid this music. Come, listen, chant!
