News from Porsgrunn, Norway

A reader from Norway sends in this news and some nice images with some unique Northern European architecture:

Norway, population 4,7 million, had in 2004 about 50,000 Catholics... On Sundays in St Olav Cathedral of Oslo and the adjacent St Joseph's church, 11 masses are celebrated in seven languages, and it is crowded!

Masses in the Tridentine rite are now celebrated regularly in the cities of Stavanger and Porsgrunn...

In Porsgrunn (population 35,000, about 1200 catholics (2004), the Tridentine mass is celebrated weekly.
