One of NLM's favorite readers has lost his voice. I just returned home from Mass at St. Peter's in Merchantville, NJ, where we had a Low Mass, since our pastor, Fr. Anthony Manuppella, has hemorrhaged a vocal chord. There is no time of year that is good for this, but perhaps this is the worst, what with Holy Week right around the corner. So please, say a little prayer for Fr. Anthony. I'm sure when he gets his voice back, he'll sing a Benedictus in your honor.
And take care of your voices, people. Easter is in the midst of a yucky season this year, so it's all the more important.
